Summer Bummer

This summer has been a little different for me. So many new, exciting things are happening for me and I've spent a lot less time enjoying the heat. I haven't been quite as summer enthusiastic as I usually am but there are still many things I just love about this season.

Let just start by saying that I have a bit of an obsession with sunglasses. Its probably the most important accessory for the summer not to mention my favourite! Shopping around for the perfect pair is such a treat for me. Sometimes I don't even feel like my outfit is complete until I have my sunglasses on! We all know that different shades go with different faces but I'm a firm believer in wearing what you love. There are so many different types to enjoy so why limit yourself? Styles like the ray ban wayfarer, aviator sunglasses, cat eye frames and retro round are some of the many to be found! Too bad I have a knack for losing every single pair I love the strangest way possible. At least they're relatively affordable and cheap to replace!

Another summer treat that I just adore is the food. Pretty obvious, right? There's nothing like wearing your shortest shorts and enjoying an ice cream cone outside. I have such found memories of being a kid, running up to the ice cream truck and enjoying my favourite treat. I've grown quite accustomed to sitting outside with friends and enjoying street meat (aka hot dogs) on the curb too. There's just nothing like it, honestly. The feeling I get when I'm enjoying the smell of summer, the heat that I will undoubtedly complain about and then miss months after its gone and my company is unmatched.
